SGCC League Update
Due to recent clarification from the Province of Manitoba ALL LEAGUES will be POSPONED Until May 30th.
The Province of Manitoba has advised that within the current Public Health Order (May 12, 2021), organized team, league play events or competitions such as Ladies Day, Men’s Night, Club leagues or Match Play events including Mundie Putter and Ladies Nassau events are not allowed at this time under Order 13 (4).
As with many past Public Health Orders, dates can change and we will be updating you as the Province confirms the the end or extension of Order 13(4). We are expecting this order to be extended to June 6th.
Mundie Putter (Monday) – Postponed until further notice. You will receive direct update from League Manager.
Ladies Nassau (Monday) – Postponed until further notice. You will receive direct update from League Manager.
Ladies Night (Tuesday) – If you have a tee time May 18th it will remain on the sheet. There will be no competition or prizing that night. For May 25th and June 1st, individual tee times can be booked online 7 days in advance. These times will be open to all member and public players. We will honor current rates set for Tuesday Ladies for this individually booked times.
18 Hole Men’s (Tuesday) – Postponed until further notice. You will receive direct update from League Manager.
Senior Morning League (Wednesday) – Postponed until further notice. Individual Tee Times can be booked for May 26th and June 2nd online and Senior Rates Set for Wednesday will be honored. You will receive direct update from League Manager.
9 Hole Men’s (Wednesday) – Postponed until further notice. You will receive direct update from League Manager.
Ladies Morning (Thursday) – Postponed until further notice. You will receive direct update from League Manager.

The date has been postponed due to the most recent inclement weather.
Instead of April 24, its now being played Saturday, May 22 at 1pm Shotgun Start.
The event is open to all male and female members and will be a fun scramble format. Will be prizes in both Mens and women’s divisions.
Due to ongoing covid19 restrictions we do not know what the food service looks like, but Diane will come up with a creative option for all players.
$40 per player will entry deadline of May 19
Future Links Junior Golf Program
Future Links gives children ages 6 to 15 the chance to enjoy and learn the game of golf via affordable and accessible programs that align and support the principles of golf’s long-term player development guide, which has been endorsed by Sport Canada. More than 800,000 junior golfers have successfully participated in Future Links programming since its inception.
Juniors will learn golf in a fun and positive environment where all aspects of the game are covered including grip and stance, iron and driver play, short game and golf etiquette!
Program dates for 2021 are as follows:
Beginner Session
Thursday’s – May 20th, 27th , June 3rd & 10th
5:00pm – 6:00pm

Intermediate Session
Thursday’s – May 20th, 27th , June 3rd & 10th
6:00pm – 7:00pm
